The NASA Goddard Visitor Center conducts monthly Model Rocket Launches which are designed to explore the basic concepts of modern rocketry with children and kids of all ages. Join us for one of our launches and see physics in action! The launches are cancelled if winds exceed 18 mph, or if it is raining. Visitors are invited to bring their own launch-ready models. Free.
